How to turn up volume on Vizio TV without remote

Every TV has a remote that lets you operate it from a distance. However, that remote can get damaged due to a drop or stop working as a result of some other internal malfunction. • Once paired, you can easily control your Vizio TV with the SmartCast app and control the volume, among other features.

One interesting way to get around this issue is to connect Alexa with your Vizio TV. Here is how you can connect it: 

• Locate the Vizio button on the remote and press it.
• This should open the SmartCast TV Home.
• Navigate to the Menu and select “Extras.”
• This should prompt you to link Alexa and your Vizio account together.
• Once your account is linked, enable Alexa.

Now, you should be able to control your Vizio TV via voice control. You can adjust the volume, search for applications or movies, turn your Vizio TV on/off, and more.

If you don’t have an Alexa and don’t want to make that purchase right now, a much cheaper option can resolve this issue.
