Before we get started it’s important to know where the battery indicator light is on the headset, and what each of its settings mean for your battery life.

The battery light, located next to the USB-C port on the Apple Vision Pro’s external battery pack, provides information on whether your headset has enough charge. When the battery needs charging, the light will be amber. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green. If the battery is very low on power, the light may flash amber, indicating the need for immediate charging.

Although it is helpful to see the battery represented by the light indicator, it can be more efficient to know the exact level or percentage of your headset’s battery. Therefore, the following methods will teach you how to access this information with ease.

Viewing the battery level in the Control Center

To access the Control Center swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.

The battery level or percentage will be displayed in the top-right corner of the Control Center interface.

Enabling or disabling battery percentage

If you prefer to see the battery percentage at all times, you can enable the Battery Percentage option in the device settings.

Open the settings app and locate the battery tab

Locate and enable the battery percentage toggle.

How do I charge my Apple Vision Pro?

The Apple Vision Pro comes with an external battery pack that connects to the headset, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB-C power adapter. How often should I charge the battery?

There is no specific rule for how often you should charge the Apple Vision Pro battery. It’s generally recommended to charge the battery whenever it’s convenient for you or when the battery level is low. A single charge of 1.5 hours will provide you with 2.5 hours of wireless usage.
